Casadores Ellisville
If you're in Ellisville, Mississippi, and you're on the hunt for bold flavors, sizzling fajitas, and a margarita that actually hits the spot, there’s one name locals keep in their back pocket—Casadores Ellisville. Located at 100 Jessamine St, this neighborhood favorite serves up satisfying, no-shortcut Mexican cuisine that balances authenticity with Southern charm. Open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM on weekends and slightly earlier on weekdays, Casadores consistently pulls in diners looking for good food, fast service, and a festive vibe without driving to Hattiesburg or Laurel.
One of the most searched terms in the area—Mexican restaurants in Ellisville MS—often leads straight to Casadores, and for good reason. The menu delivers all the classic crowd-pleasers you’d expect, but with that little extra something that sets it apart from your average combo-plate joint. Whether you're craving sizzling steak fajitas, rich mole enchiladas, or just a simple street taco platter, there's always a dish here that feels satisfying and fresh.
Start with the chips and salsa, which come complimentary and are anything but filler. The salsa is bright, house-made, and full of real tomato flavor—not that watered-down stuff you find at chain restaurants. The chips are warm, slightly salted, and crisp without being greasy. Add in a bowl of their white queso dip, and you’re officially off to a great start.
If you’re a fan of layered, cheesy comfort food, the Chimichanga Supreme is a must. Deep-fried to golden perfection, stuffed with seasoned beef or chicken, and smothered in queso and red sauce—it’s rich, indulgent, and totally worth every bite. For something on the spicier side, try the Camarones a la Diabla, which serves up shrimp in a fiery red chile sauce that delivers heat without overwhelming the dish.
Vegetarian options aren’t an afterthought here either. The veggie fajitas come out just as hot and sizzling as their meaty counterparts, and the grilled peppers, onions, zucchini, and mushrooms are seasoned just right. Pair that with warm flour tortillas and guacamole made fresh, and you won’t feel like you’re missing a thing.
Speaking of pairings—Casadores is well known for its margaritas, which come frozen or on the rocks, in all the right flavors: classic lime, strawberry, mango, and even jalapeño for those feeling adventurous. They’re strong, balanced, and more than fair on pricing. It's no surprise that the happy hour crowd here often lingers longer than planned.
The atmosphere at Casadores is welcoming and casual. Whether you’re a student grabbing lunch, a family out for dinner, or a couple on a low-key date night, the space adapts. There’s plenty of booth seating, upbeat Latin music playing in the background, and a staff that knows the menu and doesn’t mind explaining or customizing your order. Service is usually fast and attentive, even on a busy Friday night.
Locals especially appreciate the restaurant's consistency. The kitchen doesn’t cut corners, and the plates always come out hot, well-portioned, and looking just as good as they taste. Takeout orders are handled with care too—sealed up properly so everything arrives fresh, not soggy—and that matters in a town where more people are opting to eat at home.
If you're comparing options and wondering whether Casadores stacks up to the big-name spots in nearby cities, the answer is a clear yes. It might be tucked away in a small town, but Casadores Ellisville competes in flavor and service with much bigger operations. And when you're searching for real Mexican food that delivers on both quality and value, it's exactly the kind of spot you want to have on your weekly rotation.

Definitely the BEST Mexican food I've ever eaten. Can't wait to go back! Great staff! Just good ole Mexican food.
I had the Texana quesadilla which includes shrimp, chicken and steak along with sautéed onions and bell peppers. I always add cheese sauce on top. This dish comes with rice and beans that are so flavorful. Whether we eat in or schedule a pick up order, they are always prompt and friendly.
